Waking up in a patch of blocky trees and grass, Pie looked around, dazed, at the place he just woke up in. At first, he just stared at his blocky paws, wondering what the heck had just happened. Was it a dream, or something more? Any how, he just looked dumbfounded at the landscape. There were towering birch and oak trees, a large mountain, a rolling hillside at the foot of the mountain, and steep flow of lava from the far left side.

Then, it hit him like a pile of bricks, "I'm in Minecraft! But...in anthro form?" He said out loud, as he looked down at his blocky self. He wondered if he could even run on all fours, or even use any of his senses to get an edge. He slowly sniffed the air for a few seconds, taking in every bit of it. It seemed that he could still use his senses, especially since he could smell a pig that was somewhere between 50 to 75 blocks away.

Obviously, this was a clear indication of his ability to use his senses; now, if he was stuck in a video game, he would have to take the first step in progressing in any Minecraft world: punching a tree. Pie moved up to a large, majestic oak tree, with big blocky branches and bright green leaves and, with a little hesitation, began to punch it. Surprisingly, it didn't seem to hurt whatsoever. After a couple of seconds, the block popped out, and he picked it up, making a little 'pop' sound as he did. "Well, that was a little easier than I thought it would be." He said as he began to punch out a few more blocks of wood and then wondered how in the heck he would turn it all into planks.

Then, all of a sudden, a mysterious voice from out of nowhere said, "Close your eyes, and IMAGINE that wood as planks." Pie looked around, wondering who's voice that was.

"Uh hello? Wait, is this even a single-player world?" He said, starting to get a little scared.

"Don't start wondering who I am, just do what I said and IMAGINE the wood as planks! It's your key to survival in this place." The mysterious voice said, this time with a bit more serious tone.

"You've got to be kidding me. So there's like, no 'Press E to open your Inventory type of thing?' Pie said, talking into the air at the mysterious voice.

"Well, that's sort of what it is. Now, do you want to live, or die? Just do what I said, and remember, the same applies for crafting and placing things into your inventory." Said the mysterious voice.

"Fine, I'll do what you say, but I still want to know your name!" Pie said, with a bit of a growl in his voice.

"Does that matter right now? Look, the sun is starting to set, now you might want to hurry and get your furry self into a shelter before you get mauled by zombies!" said the mysterious voice.

"Oh crap!" Said Pie. Hastily, he made a crafting table, some sticks, and a pickaxe. He then hurried to the mountain side which would have stone he could mine using the pickaxe.

Pie looked around nervously as the dark started to settle in, watching for any creepers or zombies that just might sneak up on him. Eventually, he reached that mountain he had saw earlier when he first woke up, or 'spawned', in the world. He gazed at the steep mountain side, awed at it's awesomeness in the faint moonlight. A few overhangs dotted the mountain, and over to left side, there was a lava fall from a high point on the mountain, that flowed down ever so slowly and puddled on to the ground. Furiously, Pie swung his wooden pickaxe at the stone, carving out a shelter. His ear flicked at the sound of a zombie approaching from behind. "Oh crap!" He said as he was hit once by the zombie. His instincts then took over as he swung his blocky claws at the zombie, killing it in one blow. "Whoa..." Pie said, shocked at his own strength.

"While this may be Minecraft Pie, you can still use your abilities as a werewolf." The mysterious voice said.

"Damnit! Do you always have to drop in on me?" Pie said, a little annoyed by the mysterious voice just coming out of thin air.

"As a matter of fact I do. Now get back to making your shelter if you want to survive the night." The mysterious voice had said.

    "Great..." sighed Pie.

After what had seemed like hours, (Even though it was really only a few minutes.) he had himself a small shelter carved out into the mountain side. Pie made a mental checklist in his head. Shelter? Yup. Pickaxe? Yup. Crafting Table? Yup. Torches? Yup. It seemed that he was good, for now. Then, his stomach growled. "Man, I'm hungry..." Pie anxiously said, hoping food would just magically appear out of nowhere. He glanced outside into the darkness from the hole he called his home for now. He took a deep breath and sniffed the air, letting his senses guide him to what will be his meal. He glanced outside one last time, noticing the sun starting to peek up from the horizon. Soon, the zombies and skeletons would start to burn to death, then he could make a run for it and hunt for a meal. A couple of seconds later, the sound of zombies and skeletons burning up filled Pie's ear drums. "Time to make my move." He said.

Finally, he took off. He dashed out of his shelter on all four of his blocky paws, chasing after the scent of what seemed to be a pig. He then stopped short of about 15 blocks away from the pig, waiting, observing how to approach this. "Come here you little thing of bacon..." Pie said, licking his lips. Then, he remembered that the AI for the animals in Minecraft wasn't the greatest. He pondered about it, then deciding he should use it to his advantage, along with his senses.

Then, he dashed over to the pig, ready to take a swing at it with his claws. And so he did. One good slash was all it took to kill the pig, and it died with a loud squeal before disappearing with a puff of pixelated smoke. A small 'pop' sound occurred, indicating Pie had picked up the pork chops that the pig had dropped. "Yay! I can FINALLY eat!" Pie said ecstatically.

Out of nowhere, Pie heard a loud 'hiss', which only meant one thing. Creeper. With a loud boom that rang through Pie's ears, he was thrown a few blocks over to the left. Then, everything went black.

Part 1 of a mini series I'm going to start. Finally got the hang of DA! :D Also, I'd like to thank :iconphiltackular: for helping me edit this. Thanks a lot man!
